3 step instructions for an easy installation of leather panels and tiles

Clean and prepare the installation surface with a primer

Leatherwall can be installed on flat or curved surfaces made of concrete, plasterboard, metal, wood, glass. The installation on curved surfaces is subject to feasibility according the radius of the curve and the type of product.

Arrange layouts

Studioart leather tiles can be supplied either on pre-assembled panels or as loose pieces. To ensure a smooth and precise installation, it is recommended to mark guide references on the surface according to the layout diagram provided before proceeding with installation.

Adapt the tiles, if needed, and proceed with installation

In the presence of electrical boxes and wall switches, the edges of the tiles can be finished with a straight cut. Alternatively, during the design phase, it is possible to opt for custom-made tiles or pre-assembled panels. For all loose tiles, it is recommended to use the water-based liquid adhesive supplied by Studioart, while pre-assembled products come with a self-adhesive backing.

Care and Maintenance

Most leathers can be stain resistant, resilient and durable provided that they are correctly maintained. The general golden rule is knowing the type of leather to correctly maintain it.
