3 step instructions for an easy installation of leather panels and tiles

Clean and prepare the installation surface with a primer

Leatherwall can be installed on flat or curved surfaces made of concrete, plasterboard, metal, wood, glass. The installation on curved surfaces is subject to feasibility according the radius of the curve and the type of product.

Arrange layouts

All Studioart leather tiles are delivered as loose tiles, exception made for the Mosaico that is pre-assembled on a 3M bi-adhesive base. To guarantee an easy and precise installation, we recommend to draw the lines on the surface as indicated on the installation instruction supplied with the product.

Adapt the tiles, if needed, and proceed with installation

If the surface has electric sockets, the tiles can be cut to measure on site. Alternatively, custom size tiles or pre-assembled panels can be requested when asking for a quote. To be installed on the surface, all loose tiles require the use of a water-based glue supplied together with the product. Mosaico products are already pre-assembled on a 3M bi-adhesive.

Pre-assembly service

Leatherwall is designed for easy installation, which can be performed by any qualified wallpaper installer. For specific projects or to guarantee best results and highest efficiency, Studioart can provide a pre-assembly service on panels supplied by the client.

Care and Maintenance

Most leathers can be stain resistant, resilient and durable provided that they are correctly maintained. The general golden rule is knowing the type of leather to correctly maintain it.
