“We felt there was a need for larger scale speciality materials in interiors, so we designed this collection specifically to provide something unique."

What is behind the design of the Aero Collection?

As inconspicuous car aficionados, Grove Studio created their wallcovering collection for Studioart with the 1960’s vintage sports car in mind. Studioart's wide array of leather tiles blends both timeless design and modern lines for a luxurious, yet effortless appeal.

How was designing wall coverings in leather?

Leather has a look like no other. It is a material that can be both utilitarian and luxurious, and the possibilities are endless. When combined with beautiful metals in Ryder and Le Mans the result is spectacular. Inspired by the materiality of classic vintage sports cars, this collection invites the viewer to touch and participate because of its inherent depth and richness.

What were you after when desining these patterns?

The geometric patterns we designed  were specifically curated to draw the eyes away from the cluttered noise to create interesting and refined wall space. Our mantra was that walls are no longer just a simple backdrop for art, but rather an opportunity to add depth and dimension to any and every space.
